Fortune River altar
Enchanting
One enchant per pan and one per shovel, re-rollable any time. For a pan the odds depend entirely on which ore you feed the altar, so pick the ore you actually have and the list re-ranks around it.

How to enchant
At the altar behind the Alchemist
- 1Head over to the Mysterious Altar located behind the Alchemist Store in Fortune River.
- 2Make sure that the pan you want to enchant is the one you have equipped.
- 3Interact with the altar and choose "Enchant my pan".
- 4Click an ore (Aurorite, Aetherite, or Aetherium) on the left side. Enchanting will happen immediately! Make sure you don't accidentally click on an ore while scrolling through the list!
- 5The name and stats of the resulting enchant will be shown on the right. If it's not the enchant you wanted, keep clicking ores; otherwise, close the interface.
- 6As an alternative to taking your chances with the altar, Enchant books are available from the Traveling Merchant and Excavation Sites for some enchant types.
- 7The weight or modifier of the ore does not affect the rarity of the enchant you might get.
